my favorite movie ever, family issues and emo paul dano 🫶

i really liked this movie. in fact, it’s one of my comfort movies. i find the movie to be comforting because of the simple message that it conveys. the message that no one is perfect. when watching the movie when sad, the movie doesn’t make you happy, it lets you accept feelings.

this movie is literally better than therapy.

nothing could’ve prepared for the events that unfolded in this movie and i LOVEEE it. there’s nothing better than a wtf moment in what’s supposed to be a wholesome movie. each character is so enjoyable, except you know who but he somewhat redeemed himself. overall love it here

Good ass movie

Little Miss Sunshine is a good ass movie, it’s so hopeful, it’s so sweet, and you know what, it’s so fucking beautiful, because it’s real. Realer than most movies, not all, but it’s special because it feels so close to home.

1st Act 8.7/10 (Set ups are amazing, but that’s about it, wish we saw more sad Frank and one other subplot.)

2nd Act 11/10 (I have no idea what the fuck Tarantino is on about, Paul Dano is one of the greatest actors of our generation, punchable face, but amazing fucking actor.)

3rd Act 9.4/10 (Life is one fucking beauty pageant after another.)

Plot 9.0/10 (MORE FRANK, BE LONGERRRR.)

Soundtrack/Score 9.5/10 (The ultimate hopecore song.)

Acting 9.7/10 (I need another Steve Carell and Paul Dano movie, like this is a need.)

Pacing 9.0/10 (Not a slow moment, but not at the complete edge of my seat.)

Cinematography 9.4/10 (Car ride landscape shots and the crashout scene are so well shot.)

Character Development 9.6/10 (Dwayne ain’t deserve that man, same with Frank.)

Writing 10/10 ("A real loser is someone so afraid of not winning that they don't even try." Peak.)

Ending 10/10 (Smiled ear to ear.)

Direction 10/10 (I actually complimented Little Miss Sunshine on its direction twice DURING THE MOVIE.)

I rlly liked this actually😻😻 some scenes were hilarious and some scenes were hard to watch, but overall I rlly enjoyed watching it🫶
I started watching this for Paul Dano, and he didn’t disappoint, loooved his character and Franks also lmao

i actually really loved this movie, i’ve been trying to watch the “must watch” films and this one was amazing, so funny but yet sad at times. soooo good, would watch a thousand times

9/10 i really enjoyed this movie, it has a beautiful story about family and the importance of being there for each other, along with some very comedic scenes! olive deserved little miss sunshine in my book🤷‍♂️

I'm emotional about this one.

Little Miss Sunshine is a scrappy human comedy that takes an honest path to laughs and is twice as funny and touching for it.

The movie felt very plain. I was expecting a better story for some reason. The plot and characters didn’t really catch my attention until the last 45 minutes of the film. Paul Dano and Steve Carrell were phenomenal tho. The film just felt like a cliché family road trip flick.

5/5 - this movie truly means the world to me; just so so so wonderful

It was a nice movie but it didn’t really do anything for me. Definitely enjoyable nonetheless, just feel like the script was a little loose.

Wanted to see more depth to the characters and the climax was a bit disappointing
