A working man in a not-so-working movie. Statham is probably one of the most consistent action stars for mediocre films. They are either mediocrely good or mediocrely bad. "The Beekeeper" I'd put on the good side, unlike this, which falls to the bad. It starts off decent and somewhat grounded, then suddenly slips down the slippery slope of generic loud pointlessness. There's definitely an audience for it, but for me, I'd rather have skipped it.

This is that action movie you go watch when you don’t want to be in a theater full of people screaming “I… Am Steve!”

Wow, I was doing well the first ten minutes, and then It's just the same slop written all over again, incoming comments about second monitor usage🤗

This film is perhaps one of the weakest, if not the weakest, movies I’ve seen this year. Characters pop up randomly, the plot is very one-dimensional, and on top of that, there aren’t even any cool fight scenes.

jason beating the shit out of people is always so satisfying to watch.

i will say this film in particular isn’t the very best, not even close to beekeeper imo. it’s entertaining but also very predictable, & very hollywood tbh

some of the bad guys were just terrible actors all around, very cliche.

i will say the action sequences were stellar, this really performed well, especially during the climax. that battle rifle sending bodies across the floor were very satisfying to watch. this gains a lot of points.

the huge moon during the night scenes was toooo much, looked fake af and unrealistic, idk what they were thinking tbh.

storytelling like i mentioned before… very predictable, but i still enjoyed it on my flight. wouldn’t watch a masterpiece on flights, it’s not my thing. rather watch it on the big screen.

Absolutely loved it! Jason Statham was amazing as always — tough, intense, and charismatic. The action scenes were great, and the story kept me hooked from start to finish. One of my favorite performances from him!

first movie i ever walked out. got nothing else to say really. everything was so bad and boring.

Another insipid Action rescue mission with enough hammy acting and cheesy dialogue to make an awesomely bad-tasting knuckle sandwich.

It’s badly-paced, needlessly convoluted, strapped with plot armor, and yet I would still show up for another helping.

I like watching film with Jason statham beating people’s ass it’s so fun

I couldn’t have been more uninterested. How do you go wrong with a Statham gets wronged and seeks revenge on everyone that wronged him? Well, here it is. Story tries to be too deep. Action feels boring somehow. It drags along in pacing. DNF. Go watch the Beekeeper instead.

Forgettable and humorless with way too much typical action. Overall dull and formulaic revenge film.

That’s why i hate Action movies, it’s predictable, the story is repetitive and no plot twist.

5/10 The story and action, although could have been told within 1h 20mins (some scenes/action could shorter) seemed to be drawn out. Recommend.

It was exactly what you would expect from a Jason Statham action movie, like Beekeeper in a different font. But it was enjoyable if you just suspend your disbelief of yeah sure this man could definitely take that many ppl without being fatally injured.

I love Jason Statham and I enjoyed this movie, but it felt slow at times and I wanted more. If I was debating between this or the beekeeper, I’d pick the beekeeper. But I will continue to watch all of his movies.

Another film about Jason Stateham being unkillable. And I like that. Nothin fancy but reliable production if U're bored or need sth to run in the background.
