Had a similar feeling to my fav movie The Thing. Isolated crew of people, other-worldly monster, practical effects, good acting. It didn’t quite hit the same level, but I had a good time watching it

Just watched this for the first time and as a cosmic horror junkie i love it. The creature was excellent and its fun to watch all the way til the end

Alien meets John Carpenter’s The Thing: what’s not to love?

It took a while for me to get invested in any of the characters but the movie got much more interesting in its second half

It’s such a good-bad movie.

It was just a bit too cheesy for me and I’m not lactose intolerant but while a bit boring it was ok until the action got started, all of a sudden the acting took a nosedive. It was like a bad mashup of Alien, The Thing and The Abyss.

it’s trying real hard to be Alien and the Thing but fails on all fronts, kinda funny though

[Rewatch] Directed by Panos (Mandy) Cosmatos’s father and starring Robocop vs a Stan Wilson creature. The Thing with a dash of Underwater, cranking up the one-liners and camp for a entertaining brisk time. Far better than Deep Star Six.
