Paul Bettany is just sooooo good.
Creep factor: 👍🏻, story: 👍🏻, effects: 👍🏻. I thought Black was a bit weak but otherwise I’ve always been drawn to this apocalyptic religious battle that fights for the goodness in humanity.

The movie takes its absurdity very very seriously. If it was a few minutes shorter, and an ending that doesn't outright quote the beginning of the movie, and we might have had something special here.

As an action thriller, it’s good. As a horror it falls short. There’s a lot more they could have done with the concept and the body horror and gore, but alas. Wasn’t a bad movie. Probably won’t watch again.

The creatures are pretty cool and the concept of this movie is great, but it failed miserably at its production. The acting is below average and the plot feels very rushed. Definitely not the worst movie I’ve watched, but it feels like there’s just a lot missing in this movie.

Kinda a fun/dumb movie 😄

This movie is older than I thought it was. For some reason, I thought it came out lager than 2010.

The effects were kinda cheesy and the acting was a bit corny in some spots, but it’s a good plot.
