The movie takes its absurdity very very seriously. If it was a few minutes shorter, and an ending that doesn't outright quote the beginning of the movie, and we might have had something special here.

Paul Bettany is just sooooo good.
Creep factor: 👍🏻, story: 👍🏻, effects: 👍🏻. I thought the main actor was a bit weak but otherwise I’ve always been drawn to this apocalyptic religious battle that fights for the goodness in humanity.

Imagine if someone wrote fanfiction of Terminator, but it's an Angel AU. But it turns out, actual fanfiction would probably be more interesting.

Still, I love Paul Bettany and Adrianne Palicki 🤷🏻‍♂️

i only watched it cause of that “tiktok clip” iykyk lol … but it was a lot different than i had expected! not bad
