A beautiful movie to look at. They were definitely high on mushrooms during the whole production from beginning to end.

I wanna know how much of the budget went to glitter

Princesses, demons, fairies, goblins, elves, unicorns, and creatures I don't even know. It's got it all and somehow still failed to keep my attention. You can tell it's a Ridley Scott production from the quality alone. The sound effects, special effects, practical effects, score, and imagery all look and sound frighteningly incredible. There were moments I transcended. Mostly, I was bored. Although Tim Curry's performance is unforgettable. I hope there's a fleshed-out remake someday, preferably by Robert Eggers. The modern-day legend of myths and legends himself.

It's no Never Ending Story or Black Cauldron, but I can respect the practical set and wardrobe design. Not enough Tim Curry as Satan. Wild to see pre-leading man Tom Cruise, and Mia Sara in that dark fantasy dress. Yeah, kid me would've had a bigger crush on Mia Sara here.

It feels like a dungeons and dragons type movie but they don't do a deep dive of everyone. I would love a remake where they give more lore and have better camera work and equipment. A fun watch but could be done better. 7.7/10

Underrated film. The story is interesting and Tim Curry is incredible as the devil. Worth a watch
