There are so many cool untold stories from ww2, and this is one of them. Once you get into the story line it’s so cool. If your looking for a super action packed war movie this isn’t is. But i definitely recommend watching it.

The great movies takes you back in time. Unfortunately this movie couldn't do that, it didn't feel like the 1940s. It would also have been amazing if they had shown the real photos that Lee took during the movie, not just at the end. I knew some of her famous photos, but not all.

An inspirational woman and interesting story, although I felt it could have been portrayed better. Given her incredible photography skills, the shots could have leant into this and had an angle of surrealism to make it more visually interesting. Trigger warning: disturbing scenes

I really like how it flips back and forth from present to past to fill in the gaps, but I still came out knowing the same things I knew about Lee going in. WW2 was a huge part of Miller's life and certain scenes paint a graphic idea on the experience. The pictures are traumatising and you can see Lee's trauma through Kate's dedicated portrayal. I expected and wanted more details about her personal life, not just the profound sections. War on whatever level continues and unfortunately will for as long as I'll probably be alive. Overall, a phenomenal movie on war, but an unsaturated biopic on Lee.

slightly slow at times, but i think i was just expecting more of a war epic than what this ended up being. a beautiful film though that highlights the other extremely important sides of the war effort other than the physical fighting 7.5/10

A bit thin in the middle but a great performance from Kate Winslet and a surprisingly good dramatic performance from Andy Samberg make up for it.

Engaging biopic of a woman I knew nothing about. Interesting historical perspective on WW2

An amazing utterly tragic movie. Not knowing anything about Lee going into this, it was such a profound story. It’s not your loud war action, but that makes it all the more important. Winslet did a spectacular job.
