6/25/26 I enjoyed this more than I thought . I enjoyed the follow through of making a change at the end and the dynamic of Mindy Kaling and Dame Emma Thompson. Excellent to see John Lithgow again.

The formula is this film is nothing we haven’t seen before but the cast was just incredible and made it so much fun to watch! I totally loved it!

Fantastic story by Kaling, I loved that changes were made, but just the necessary ones, no need to throw the whole thing out. Keeping some of the writers and their jokes was the right call.
I truly enjoyed it. And the costumes, dear god how gorgeous!!

Was actually really fun

It's an okay movie but rather boring, there are some subplota that don't have a clear ending but liking that is subjective so - there's enough of romance and comedy to be able to sit through the movie.
