Don't try to make it out to be more than a black comedy with a CGI croc on the loose, and you'll enjoy it just fine.

Structurally, it’s basically Jaws with crocodiles. Isolated town, hidden predator, reluctant experts. Betty White steals scenes, & the banter keeps things lively. It’s not high art but it’s memorable, quotable, & endlessly rewatchable.

6/10 it’s just all cheese and funny cgi. Love it, creature features will always be my favourite

8/10 rewatch made it even better. I don’t care about the terrible cgi, it’s glorious

Betty White’s performance makes this whole movie. And the super cool huge crocodile. I know it’s not the best movie but it’s always been one of my favorites and was really one of the reasons I got into horror.

Great horror comedy that brought Betty White onto the big screen in a hilarious role. Great cast and storyline makes this an easy watch anytime.👍🏻

It had been years since I watched this cheesy 90’s action/comedy/horror. Oliver Platt and Brendan Gleeson’s chemistry make the movie. Some fun exchanges between the two. Pullman and Fonda have zero chemistry which is very apparent now. But it’s still a fun watch.
