It’s a movie based on a bedtime story, so I don’t take it seriously. The acting is better than the script deserves.

It was interesting. The concept was really good but the writing failed it. The movie couldn’t decide what it wanted to be - meta commentary on movies? A fun fantasy story? A drama about grief and loss? A comedy? It tried to do all of those and failed to be anything special

Love Paul Giamatti in this Shyamalan Fantasy

This does not deserve the hate it gets. It’s a fun fairytale adventure that I love and am here for!

i absolutely LOVE this movie! it’s a great mystical thriller that showcases the human heart and spirit in an everyday setting. so definitely an odd combination but it’s so rare to see that together and it just adds to the uniqueness and overall likeability of the film!

Trailer looks promising, but it just doesn't deliver.

That was very confusing, the pacing was weird, it just didn’t make sense and I don’t know others criticism when it comes to this film. It didn’t feel like a normal movie. It felt like a fairytale in a children’s book, but not in a good way. The whole thing was just a mess.

I saw this one at the movie theater. It was me, my mother, and probably 5 other people inside for this movie. Everyone walked out before the movie ended. When the movie ended my mother got up and said.. why did you bring me here to watch this movie are you okay ? lol! It’s awful.

First movie i‘ve ever watched. Made me fall in love with movies and storytelling. I’m a big fan of M.Night!

Great movie to watch with kids who might be on the spectrum

This movie does a lot wrong and the cgi can look like a PS2 game in some segments but I overall have a soft spot for it and enjoy it.

This opened my eye the fantasy world so much. I love the creature and the special effects.
