Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
As a stand-alone, it's a great start to a 'new' story. As a sequel, it has some work to do. The length is okay, but the pacing for the first half was off and on. As soon as Proximus hits the screen, the movie's rating goes up. His vocabulary and voice merge so well with his ideas and looks. Many of the characters had some well-written roles. The acting all around was insane, as usual. The voices, sounds, and expressions were all so good. The vfx/sfx was beautiful, especially for the budget, which I hope they increase. There's a lot of analysing to do as it doesn't explain a lot, and I love it.

Movies ass. Slow af I checked the time 1000 times. They should’ve let the franchise be tbh.

Humans really just mess everything up, time and time again. Noah is no Caesar but damn if these apes don’t make you feel something you’re hollow inside. Kinda feels like this results into nothing but leaves it open ended for a sequel…

Yet another solid entry to this amazing franchise. This movie had a lot to live up to and it didn’t disappoint at all. The VFX and cinematography were so good and I really liked the introduction to these new characters. I’m very excited to see where the story goes from here

slow movie, which leaves a lot to be desired as a sequel, honorable mention to "what a wonderful day" but 6/10

First one out of this series that I’ve seen. Thought it was really good, I’m excited to see the other ones so I can get more of a grasp for what the overall story and characters are but I really really enjoyed this one. Had some great action sequences and the locations shown throughout are visually pleasing. Loved Noah and Proximus and thought Freya Allen killed her role 🙌🏻

7.3 - while a step back, I’m pleasantly surprised. The new characters are mostly engaging. The core of how Caesar’s legacy has been twisted by different groups is a fascinating study. The world extension is realistic. And CGI work didn’t miss a beat, setting (cont.)

This is at its best when we see how characters interpret history & attempt to change this new world for their own reasons. I got invested in the characters quickly but Noa doesn’t go through a clear meaningful internal arc. A cool adventure that acts as a setup for things to come

Top tier special effects have come from this franchise and they won’t let you down in this film. They do such an amazing job making you feel connected to the characters in every entry. The conflict between humans & apes / apes and apes always has you torn between who’s right.

Very mid compared to the big 3. It felt like they humanized the chimps in general especially giving the mother of the main character human sized breasts.

This franchise continues to impress. If the visuals alone don't win you over, then the incredible story will. "Kingdom" continues a very successful track record of filmmaking with stunning visual effects, engaging conflicts, loveable characters, and imagination. 9/10 For Ceasar.
