Joy Ride Reviews

Great movie… makes ya think twice about messing with people

Glad I stumbled on this underrated gem. It’s simple, but the way they deliver it is what makes it so attractive (the main lead too, hehe). The tension, the villain, the creep factor—it’s all palpable.

Candycane is my fav character

This is a surprisingly good stalker type horror film. More than you expected going into it.

it was a ride for sure idk about joyful

Good movie. Pretty interesting story premise and characters. Very disturbed villain and great ending.

a way to start summerween movie night. i liked the film’s aesthetic and how a prank slowly spirals into something much bigger and more disturbing. i guess the point is you never know who you’re dealing with, and that a harmless joke can turn dangerous

John Dahl’s good direction can’t save this silly and pitiful b-movie. Aside from Steven Zahn’s, the rest of the performances are very artificial and stilted. Then there’s no sense of logic in the script. It’s painfully obvious this is a 2000s thriller geared towards teens.

Watched this one when I was a teenager and rewatched recently. One of the few movie that stressed the hell out of me. The story is original and there is some very stressful scenes. Well done!

This one was okay. I liked it a bit for the 2000’s vibes. But I believe it’s well loved mostly for Paul Walkers naked butt. It’s not one I would watch again.

Good shvtty movie

Found it to be more of a lesson, a really well learned lesson!!

P.S: Not so funny now is it!?

So underrated. The logic May have been flawed but the thrill was so so good. Had my heart pumping so fast!
