It says a lot about society

A lot of people didn’t like this but it’s because they were comparing it to the dark knight. Stand alone it’s good I think. I love it being a drama and tackling mental illness

He’s really incredible, the acting’s sick. On the other hand he’s not a Joker who can fight with Batman, he’s a real life joker.

It’s just not great

This is perfect . I watched it twice so far , it is amazing how they trying to connect between the joker and batman ! Everything here is perfect from the story till acting. I love that movie 100% one of my fav movies oat. 10/10 Hehehe 👀❤️❤️❤️❤️

I unapologetically dislike this movie. Joaquin Phoenix does a good job of playing a psycho because he is one. Just a weird movie, all the way around.

Idk why this movie got so much hate. I don’t feel like it’s making a joke out of mental illness. We live in a society that forces people into poverty and doesn’t take mental health issues seriously. This film is showing just how detrimental that can be.

This is my second favorite movie. I have rewatched this more than 4 times. I am a super fan of this movie. Specially Joaquin Phoenix. He is a good actor.

While there are similarities to Taxi Driver in this film, it’s so perfect because the audience knows who Joker becomes, and the character study of how he evolves is so compelling. There’s really never a dull moment because every time he’s on the screen you can see what he’s feels

I immediately run the other direction when someone tells me he's their favorite character, this movie is 🚩🚩🚩

Loved this movie, great storytelling and introduction to the joker

Absolutely gorgeous film with incredible acting. Unfortunately, even watching this so many years later, it is still incredibly relatable and relevant. The movie does a fantastic job of bringing light to very real issues, while giving an iconic comic book character a new twist.🔥🃏

Joaquin Phoenix with an Oscar performance here. What a depiction of a man falling into chaos, and how the common people feel about the rich.

Favorite character: Arthur Fleck
Favorite moment: Probably the Murray show hosting Arthur.
