The novel was wayyyy better. They took a lot of the dialogue out and some of the most romantic/monumental lines. Felt rushed and the chemistry wasn’t as intensely felt as the book.

I haven’t read Jane Eyre and have only seen clips or the movie so this is not at all what I was expecting. I didn’t know that it was borderline a tragedy. The acting was phenomenal but I never felt any romance between Jane and Rochester. They felt very weird together
