Maybe they should have taken it slower and made it a sort of “find the imposter among us” sort of deal, but it was still great. The scene where they plan to convert the baby really started the more dramatic part of the film.

I like this version the best the remakes ending is iconic tho

I know it’s a metaphor and a product of its time but it’s actually pretty spooky at its core. Builds well. Dana Wynter is a stunner.

Saw the 70s remake first. This was way better. An incredible, suspenseful, thrilling film. Not as fantastic as the remake made it feel more real.

At the beginning I wasn't enjoying it too much, but as it went along I started to get more and more into it, especially the second half of the movie.

Vegetables are bad

I liked it the overall idea is a little messy but the acting is really good and the story is is interesting

Freaky, spine-tingling classic sci-fi. A cloud of dread conveyed via methodical visuals, sound, & plot. Great practical effects. Equally good to the 1978 remake. The central romance isn't specially compelling, but at least it's used to explore what it means to be human.

I did enjoy it. Original concept, fun cinematography, good score. However, I wish we didn’t know the ending from the opening. It makes the final act feel a bit boring as you know how everything will play out. But everything leading up to that was great.

Pretty solid, the effects are great, but it kinda drags on a bit.

Such a creative and thrilling idea. I came into this with pretty low expectations, but I was actually really impressed. Okay, yeah, the dialogue and pacing coulda been better but the directing and lighting and suspense was all done reallly well.

I like it a lot, the tension in the movie theater was palpable, the audience was afraid and that’s not easy to do now at days. This could be a perfect movie except for a big plot hole at the end.

I slept watching it twice.
