Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Maybe they should have taken it slower and made it a sort of “find the imposter among us” sort of deal, but it was still great. The scene where they plan to convert the baby really started the more dramatic part of the film.

Brilliant classic horror.

I like this version the best the remakes ending is iconic tho

I wanted to love it so bad but the ending just doesn’t have the same impact as the remake from the 70s. It makes sense considering it’s basically an anti communist propaganda film but it still could have stuck the landing.

I liked it the overall idea is a little messy but the acting is really good and the story is is interesting

Freaky, spine-tingling classic sci-fi. A cloud of dread conveyed via methodical visuals, sound, & plot. Great practical effects. Equally good to the 1978 remake. The central romance isn't specially compelling, but at least it's used to explore what it means to be human.
