the show > the movie but this was surprisingly better than i anticipated. tom cruise & kirsten dunst devoured. brad pitt nibbled a bit but mostly he just served face - it felt like he didn’t wanna lean into the homoeroticism too too much 😔

Not what I was expecting! Leans very heavily on the queer erotic vampires and has a banger cast with Pitt, Cruise, Dunst, and Banderas. Could’ve been shorter IMO, some scenes dragged on. Loved the lore and costume design!

The show was better

I actually liked this movie. It seems slow but it just pulls you in. The story is compelling and shows you the reality of a human nature within a vampire.

A very well written movie that both Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt did a phenomenal job acting in. I’ve always been a decent fan of vampire films and this was certainly one that was done right. It felt very slow at times, but if you like vampires, you’ll like this film. 8.8/10

Great vampire flick. Besides Bram Stoker’s Dracula, one of my favorite vampire movies of all time. Yes, they are sensual and attractive vampires, but at least these bad boys don’t sparkle or go to high school.

Very good vampire film been on my watchlist for a long time Brad Pitt and Tom cruise are great at being vampires. The whole vibe and atmosphere of this film is truly something.
Kirsten dunst was great in this.
Overall I’d give this a solid 8/10

having seen the tv show first, this paled in comparison unfortunately and was pretty lackluster. the movie lacked all of the romance and intrigue that the show has! sam reid’s lestat is just untouchable.. he IS lestat. i will say tom cruise’s wasn’t as bad as i was anticipating

It was really good! Brad Pitt is so fricking Fine in this omg. The visuals were stunning, the acting was great, the dialogue was hard to follow at times though but it didn’t detract from my enjoyment too much. It lowkey felt a little fruity
