5.3 - I keep trying to like this, I’ve watched it like 3 or 4 times now & I just can’t. Its script & score are melodramatic & corny, & it’s at times overacted. I laugh more than I jump. Every demon design & movement is silly. Wilson is perfect & a few fun ideas make it bearable.

Pretty solid horror film. Normally, jump scares in movies are cheesy and they never get me, but there were some really good ones here. And the ending… what a cliffhanger! Now I feel like I have to watch the second one.

Laughable attempt to be “scary.” This movie is unfortunately a try hard filled with cheap jumpscares when truly the only scary thing about the movie is how heavily filtered it is. The camera work is also dizzying and the acting is full of cheesy cheese balls. Funny to watch!!

This is one of my favorite horror films of all time. This film scared the shit out of me when I was younger and there were still multiple times where I got goosebumps due to how creepy it was and the photograph scene at the end is one of the greatest horror scenes I’ve ever seen

My 100th movie of the year (including rewatches) Very mixed feelings on this as it posses a very positive and negative that being it’s genuinely scary (which is very rare for me ). However it also posses a very predictable 3rd act making it go down in my estimations. 8.7/10
