jump scares are awful and the demon looks like darth maul on crack

Pretty solid horror film. Normally, jump scares in movies are cheesy and they never get me, but there were some really good ones here. And the ending… what a cliffhanger! Now I feel like I have to watch the second one.

In the middle between “meh” and “like” since I’m still not used to scary movies 👹

I consider this and the sequel to just be one movie. Entertaining horror for sure!

A spectacular James Wan horror film that keeps you on the edge of your seat and your hands gripping your seat in fear. While not Wans best horror film, he manages to create an eerie and terrifyingly uncomfortable setting with good jumpscares and even a better cast. 9.5/10 for me!
