Insidious

jump scares are awful and the demon looks like darth maul on crack

literally one of if not my fav horror movie of all time

5.3 - I keep trying to like this, I’ve watched it like 3 or 4 times now & I just can’t. Its script & score are melodramatic & corny, & it’s at times overacted. I laugh more than I jump. Every demon design & movement is silly. Wilson is perfect & a few fun ideas make it bearable.

The first half of it is super boring and the movie is really corny. But I thought it was alright and I am interested in watching the 2nd movie.

7/10

insane amount of music sting jump scares. knowing theres six of these things kinda ruins the fun
