By all accounts, Philip Seymour Hoffman’s “Capote” was the superior picture (released just a year prior). But this was the one available to me on Alaska Airlines. Some of the filmmaking choices were a little iffy but Toby Jones and Daniel Craig both give great performances.

I knew nothing about this story going in and it surprised me. I didn’t even knew it was a biographical movie. It was really boring in the beginning but when I found out it was a biography it became very interesting

My mom told me this version was better than Capote and I wholeheartedly agree. Capote seemed less storybook villain and more real (albeit awful) human being.
