Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Reviews

Somehow this is worse than Raiders? So much racism, so many stereotypes. How is this series still upheld as a great one today? Does no one stop to criticize it? We just accept it as it is? I know Indy is an adventurer but yikes. Also, where do all these treasures go?? YIKES.

Easily the best Indiana Jones. Indie is more likable, shorty is a top 5 all time movie character, (should’ve been in all of them). So many fantastic scenes. Opening is amazing, and last 40 minutes superb. Bridge scene, conveyor, tomb, cart, all amazing. So much better than raider

I still cannot understand why this film got a lower rating than the 1st and 3rd films. I’ve seen this movie so many times now and each time I love it, the action sequences, the laughs, the romance. It’s a darker tone too which was a great take on Indiana Jones. Amazing! 10/10!!!!

I saw this movie many years ago but in my mind it's still wonderful, as good as the first of the saga. The music of John Williams and the genius of Steven Spielberg match perfectly. So iconic Ke Huy Quan (the chinese kid) in this film. 9/10

now what were they doing with this. why do him and willy suddenly become wildly attracted to each other?? hate that they end up together and her character was absolutely insufferable. also the weird racial stereotypes that are present the WHOLE time?? shortround is the best part

Not as good as the first in my opinion - it was very different and it really depends on what you like because this one didn’t take the historical route and was more fictional and about magic - still a good movie and I love short round I wish he was in other ones

Do they just hate women in this saga? They make us seem like absolute imbeciles. So much unnecessary screaming drove me nuts.

A good movie but I prefer the first one. This movie is weird and some scenes are disturbing . I really liked the female character (willie scott). fun fact she’s actually steven spielberg’s wife but at the time of the release of this movie he was married to someone else.

Solid movie. Plot is ok. The girl character is annoying. Short round is the goat. He made the movie funny and the only reason it’s getting a high rating. 7/10

Fun movie. I wish they would have explained what happen to Marion but I guess just give him a new girl. Bit creepy at times but that’s what these movies are all about
