Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

Somehow this is worse than Raiders? So much racism, so many stereotypes. How is this series still upheld as a great one today? Does no one stop to criticize it? We just accept it as it is? I know Indy is an adventurer but yikes. Also, where do all these treasures go?? YIKES.

Easily the best Indiana Jones. Indie is more likable, shorty is a top 5 all time movie character, (should’ve been in all of them). So many fantastic scenes. Opening is amazing, and last 40 minutes superb. Bridge scene, conveyor, tomb, cart, all amazing. So much better than raider

Hat guy starts in nightclub in China, gets poisoned, fight over diamond, runs away.

He gets on plane with annoying singer lady and stray kid.

Plane crashes, they slide down mountain on raft and end up in poor village where kids are missing.

Village says bad guys stole the kids and magic.

They go to palace where dinner is snakes and monkey brains and eyeball soup and singer lady crashes out a lot.

Under the palace is a secret lava temple where creepy priest pulls out still-beating heart and makes kids work in mines.

Hat guy gets hit with evil brainwashing juice, gets half naked and becomes evil for 5 minutes then stray kid turns him good again.

Stray kid pretty much saves the day. Hat guy turns into Leon S Kennedy to escape.

Almost drowns, almost gets stabbed by mob with swords. Molag Bal shows up to cause problems, singer lady continues to crash out.

They fight on a bridge, hat guy cuts bridge, crocodiles eat bad guys, magic rocks glow, they go back to village with all the stolen kids and singer lady finally likes him.
