An odd story of romance, second chances, and the small moments of daily life we reminisce about all because of the person they were spent with. An odd story of two people who are trying to help one another, and in the end, it’s debatable if they ever did. Beautifully looking.

Not trying to be mean but what is the significance of this film? Sure there are a couple engaging scenes, but there’s nothing that stands out.

The only reason i judge this so hard is because this is criterion and known as one of the best movies of all time.

I didn’t dislike it because it was a slow burn, but the narrative itself wasn’t that interesting to me. Maybe it stands out for its cinematography? Even then that aspect wasn’t anything too special.

One thing i will give this movie is its score. It was very beautiful and had a solemn tone which i enjoyed.

This isn’t a badly made film by any means, but just not for me ig.

Beautiful, simply beautiful. The seamlessly blend between perfect music curation, tender visuals and an impeccable wardrobe sumps up this stylish, sophisticated, romantic story. It reminded me of “Before Sunrise”.

There are so many questions I have about this, not for the plot by the creative process of every detail planted into it. I’m not saying I don’t understand the film, I just am so eager to know more about it. This film is nothing short of a masterpiece and I’m on my 2nd watch.10/10

Absolute cinema

Watched this in an open air cinema looking at the acropolis #flex

The film’s strength definitely relies on the visual aspects. The photography, art direction, and costumes all come together beautifully, accidentally making the film’s story and plot almost irrelevant.

i feel like the only person in the world that feels this way, but i could not get into this one at all. everything that’s said about it is true: beautiful everything. the plot itself failed to capture me, and so did the emotionality of the film. just didn’t get this one, sadly.

C’est très beau, c’est somptueux, c’est mélancolique, c’est profond et je ne peux pas le nier. Malheureusement je n’ai juste pas réussi à accrocher. Je pense que ce n’est pas mon style de film.
