The moral(ity) of the story is beautiful. The settings and camera work are lovely. Acting is good. Story is a little slow tho. I think it’s meant to be more of an art piece than a cinematic experience or to maybe cause introspection.
Overall I enjoyed it but probably wouldn’t revisit it.

7/10 Decent movie, didn't feel much pressure coming from all the stories but I can see how they all fit in with one another and that was cool. Not bad

Rating: 5.1/10 ⭐️
I expected a sweeping epic, but juggling three disconnected timelines made it super disjointed and tough to get through.
What Worked:
Birkeland’s cinematography and Newman’s score create a stunning landscape. Jones brings a grounded gravity that perfectly balances the massive scale. Seeing characters search for meaning across 47,000 years was profound. It is a beautiful reminder of the eternal, divine thread connecting all our struggles in a much larger, God-ordained tapestry.
The Cuts:
Jumping between three eras meant the momentum totally stalled out; it was just spinning its wheels. Keeping it spoiler-free, McKinnon's hyper-serious astronaut role felt jarring, and her whole section really dragged for me. The film bites off way more than it can chew and just feels hollow rather than giving a satisfying payoff.
Verdict:
An ambitious but messy sci-fi epic. Watch for stunning visuals, skip if you want a tight, character-driven story.
Favorite Line: “We are all just moments, passing in the blink of an eye.”

Really enjoyed but wouldn’t rewatch, in a good way. Once and done.
I thought the past storyline was a little hard to follow since everyone looked alike, but still a really interesting story🫣

I liked it. I enjoyed the parallels between the characters in the different timeframes. We’re all more alike than we think. Though it felt like it was a short film maybe unnecessarily stretched out to a longer movie.

For a minute I thought this was going to give Cloud Atlas but it’s really more of an anthropological movie of how through time parts of us still live on and how we are connected to our past.

Really shouldn’t be rated as low as it is rn (64%)! It’s a beautiful film. I guess it’s too deep for most people.
But I loved the emotional depth and parallels between past, present, and future. They connected them nicely as well. Music and cinematography are also beautiful.

This was OK for me. I do like how all three of the stories intertwine, but at the same time it started to drag for me after a while. I didn’t really feel much of an emotional connection with any of the characters, but I still enjoyed how it all played out.
