One of if not the best film I’ve ever seen, it’s an emotional ride and so incredibly well acted, it’s powerful and very educating, I’d recommend everyone to go watch this, especially whilst it’s still in the cinema

You’re crying.

Education over ostracization.

Such a beautiful documentary that sheds light on the struggles of someone who’s not “normal.” We’re all struggling with something. Be kind to one another and we’ll all be better off.

It’s a shame this film is under the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. I feel like there would be a great benefit to more people watching - so for that I’m glad Netflix is showing it.

I’m not usually one for British dramas, they’re often cheap and frankly crap - but this is some seriously good quality filmmaking. It keeps things easy-watching, even when things aren’t easy to see, balancing those moments with humour, and bringing all it wants to say in a positive and uplifting way.

It’s a strange one to have Robert Aramayo win Best Actor at the BAFTAs, not because he doesn’t deserve it - he absolutely does. It’s just strange how it works out with distribution overseas, so who knows, maybe next year he will be and deservedly so. Peter Mullan too, fantastic performance.

Be interesting to see how this does next year, after being released in the US - if it even makes any impact. I can only encourage people to watch this, if not for its large entertainment factor, but for the educational purposes it wears proudly on its shoulders.
