This movie isn’t my type of humour at all I only laughed a handful times but the fact this movie exists is amazing to me and that might be one my favourite final acts put to film it’s somehow better than most action movie final acts it has no right being this good 9.8/10

11/100. If a shitpost became a movie, this is it. A lot of people find this movie funny, but I really don’t for the most part. It is very creative, I’ll give it that, but the movie was WAYY too long.

This movie is crazy, and so so awesome. Totally creative. My only problem is the pacing, the middle was a bit too drawn out, but the last 30 minutes was absolutely incredible, had so much fun with that.
Funny movie man, just a good to only half focus on.

A throwback to the silent era of films. The humor is slapstick but creative. I feel like cinefiles will truly appreciate this where as general audiences will be a tad lost. Overall I'm glad stuff like this still can exist even if it's not for everyone.

just not my humour and only laughed about the stupidity of it
watched like 20 minutes but 2hrs would be a waste of my time
original idea though and they were brave to make it

Funny, cute, and creative movie. I chuckled quite a few times but I did felt like it was way longer than it needed to be.

Zany, inventive and absolutely hilarious. A live action cartoon that tries to one up itself around every corner.

This felt like a fever dream and I picked a great day to watch this (4/20) was a mix of Mr bean and add a lot of old school looney toons with bugs bunny , love when directors take a leap of faith and try something new , this won’t be for everybody …. But passed time 4 me

Love the creativity this was put in the movie with a bunch of hilarious moments and giving it that classic cartoon humor with the black and white style

"If you want to marry my daughter... YOU CAN'T!... UNLESS... YOU BRING ME... [INSERT TITLE CARD] HUNDREDS OF BEAVERS!"
One of, if not the greatest comedy of all time, it’s got some of the greatest slapstick ever put to screen, alongside an amazing unique story, that couldn’t have been done any better if you tried for a million and more lifetimes.
Hundreds Of Beavers is amazing in every single aspect, it’s hilarious, it’s well made, the artistic choices are outstanding, it’s perfectly paced all the while being something you won’t forget for as long as you live, if not longer.
1st Act 9.4/10 (Grips you by the balls and keeps tickling you until the movie ends.)
2nd Act 9.8/10 (As someone who thinks comedy’s are an overrated genre, this is my favourite act of a comedy, if not movie.)
3rd Act 9.6/10 (You think by now it’d get boring, FUCK NO, it literally gets better.)
Plot 11/10 (Could not have been more intriguing , any more original, or any better.)
Soundtrack/Score 9.6/10 (Banger, Banger, Banger.)
Acting 11/10 (Everybody, round of applause for Ryland, all time pure expression performance, Charlie Chaplin would have pissed himself.
Pacing 9.5/10 (Relentlessly funny, doesn’t get old once, not a single recurring joke doesn't hit.)
Cinematography 9.6/10 (The way the shots are framed made the whole movie.)
Character Development 9.2/10 (THE FUR TRAPPER MOGS ASH WILLIAMS.)
Writing 9.8/10 (The traps were so peak, like outrageously well done, I also loved horse.)
Ending 9.2/10 (The parallels, the stupidity, the wackiness, stays true to both the humour and the characters.
Direction 10/10 (The amount of immense disappointment I felt after realising this is his only feature film was beyond measure.

This is very simply one of the funniest films ever made. A nearly 2 hour long, silent, black & white, slapstick, Looney Toons adjacent fever dream that seamlessly blends intricately crafted bits and a genuinely told hero’s journey. I have not laughed this hard for this sustained amount of time in forever, this doesn’t let up but you have to give into the genre; this is a very silly movie, it’s not smart comedy, it’s the dumbest of dumb fun done brilliantly. The bits here are never ending, every single frame is a joke, the mascot animal costumes, literally everything in this movie is a ‘Chekhov’s Gun,’ it is relentless. With that aside there is an impressively bold story that is told, a story that feels brave in its approach because of the acts it has to follow up. Yet with all of this in mind it never manages to feel out of place, it truly is its own thing. Truly a one of a kind film. 4.5/5

9.0 - I underrated this hard on first watch. It’s hilarious at every turn.
It’s still maybe a bit too long, but it’s one of the most original and creative movies to made this century, & is *absolutely* getting added to the holiday rotation.
Please make more things, Mike Cheslik.
