Was a powerful story until I found out that none of this ever happened to Shia LaBeouf. I still think the contents of the movie are important, I know a lot of people related to it. But it just has no integrity bc the man behind it is a POS! On a positive note loved Noah Jupe’s-

wtf? A beautiful film that is coated with lies. Who tf does something like this to their own blood?

great movie with some really deep cuts. feel like this is a must watch for anyone who also has an interest in the “downfall” of childhood celebrities and why their lives can take such a drastic turn simply because of their upbringing/how they’re treated due to the spotlight.

i had no idea shia lebeouf was such a skilled writer; delivering a pretty stellar performance alongside a great lucas hedges, his largely interesting origin story is on full display with impressive cinematography. definitely worthwhile

This movie got a whole lot cooler after I figured out it was about Shia Labeouf. Tough watch- some hard topics about real life struggles and mental illness. But a good movie.
