Pretty decent

I’ve enjoyed several Liam Neeson action thrillers recently and Honest Thief was no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed every second and his performance is once again simply superb.

While the plot wasn’t groundbreaking, I’ve seen many films with similar storylines poorly executed. Honest Thief, however, manages to avoid this. I enjoyed the entire cast’s performances; each actor delivered their role well and conveyed the story with a strong sense of realism.

My only minor criticism is the story didn’t quite conclude satisfactorily. It wasn’t a bad ending but I’d have liked to see what happened next after Tom surrendered to the FBI. Perhaps the ending was intentionally ambiguous, so I’ll assume Tom and Annie lived happily ever after, which is what I hoped for. It’s a really good film, one I’d definitely recommend!

Typical Liam Neeson movie- special forces guy gets caught up in someone else being evil, girl in danger, bad guys turn on each other, Liam is vindicated in the end.

It was ok. I didn’t realize id watched it before, but still was able to watch the entire film and enjoy it.

Very similar to all his movies but I do enjoy them.

this was exceptionally mid. i think the casting was generally quite good and the idea for the story was fine, but nothing really got me hooked into it

Another film I’d never heard of but stumbled across today on Netflix. A simple story that unravels into a really good action film. Neeson is his typical Neeson character - with skills - but they’re not over the top like in some of his other films. I love Robert Patrick, so was good to see him in this - just wish his role included more. Great movie overall and I’d definitely watch again.

The mid action sequences aren’t nearly enough to make up for the lazy setup
