I might be the only one who’s seen this movie here, but I give it a strong 8/10. I worked on set and had a blast with the production. The visuals, acting, and suspense really made it stand out. Worth the watch if you are looking for a solid Halloween season movie!

Sara Paulson is a scream queen

I liked the premise of this film but it was really lacking in a few areas. Really wasn’t sure what it was trying to be and didn’t pick up until the end. It could have at least had some more intense horror elements.

On the upper end of a dislike. Visually, it pulled me in, and that's about it. The pace is far too slow, and barely anything interesting happens. As for horror, atmospherically, it was almost there. Otherwise, it failed in delivering mystery or keeping any tension whatsoever. It actively lost my attention, and so I eventually gave up.

I feel like in theory this is probably a good movie but I had such a hard time trying to hold my attention on it. Sarah Paulson was rockin’ those milk braids though lol

it was a decent movie but i don’t think I’d recommend it to many. however, anyone interested in the dust bowl will find great pleasure in the much underused setting. i wish they would’ve done more with the man (cant remember his name) he would’ve played a great part with longer

It plays with anxiety and some psychological aspects we all can relate in some sort of way. But the message kinda gets lost in being to subtle in certain parts and not portraying it clearly. It‘s supposed to a slow burn imo - but too slow

the dust bowl horror film no one wanted

It was quite predictable and not very scary, but the whole cast turns it out in this and turns a relatively boring story into something worth watching. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it serves up some decent tension and unsettling scenes. Could have been great if it wasn’t so derivative but I still enjoyed it.

this movie genuinely made me feel queasy but i’ve never watched a movie that gave the feeling this one did. 10/10

creepy gross but sarah paulson will always be great in horror. also the daughter snipping the string was wild

Found it to slow. I couldn’t get into it and quite pretty early in.

between meh + like. plot is interesting but i thought the movie was gonna be more supernatural than it actually was

pretty average horror film. the setting is interesting and of course sarah paulson is a genius actress. but overall is nothing special. if you just want to enjoy a horror movie i would definitely tell you to watch this.

A bit slow but overall a very good watch.
