then what the fuck is that’ ICON!! she’s an icon. i love miss joey summers. this is feifnektly my favourite of the franchise so far as it explained a lot more of what the ‘demons’ are.

The terrible editing and like face stretch effects at the end really turned a like into a love. So bad so so bad so 90s. Love too see it. Pinhead was like almost kinda sexy a couple times when he was like mmmm imma loveee torturing you and making you like it or whatever that guy was talking about. He’s always saying that and never following through on screen. I wanna see this really great torture you do pinhead.

1/6/25: Um, this film is so odd. It does a pretty good job of starting the story over again after the conclusion of the second one, and does a pretty good job of setting it up for a series.

The fact it was filmed around the same time that Twin Peaks was majorly popular makes it such a fascinating film— it felt incredibly lynchian at points and I honestly really really liked that aspect, it was so silly and surreal 🤓. Also, i DEFINITELY believe those two lead actresses characters were supposed to be having a psudeo lesbian relationship, it’s all there, i sweartogod.

Speaking of god, this had some of the most overt sacreligious imagery I’ve seen in any media overall!! It is also so fucking funny that the fucking box ends up being buried under, what looks to be, trump tower at the end of the film 😭

The club scene was pretty cool, Loved all the gross practical effects. A rat was the cause of this? Lmao
Some good and bad acting. So ridiculous at times but fun. The absurdity of how everything looks is great. My favorite Hellraiser so far 8.5/10 📺
