i HATED the main character so much, she was so unbearably annoying it was hard to sit through but i pushed through because the scenes with the cenobites were so freaking amazing, i loved the designs and the visual effects, what they did with the lament configuration was great too

Amazing! Simply amazing. Finally a revival of shoot franchise that isn’t centered around throwing a bunch of CGI and thrill scenes at the wall. This movie is deathly, meticulous and grotesquely beautiful.

Glad I sat through this one as the beginning focused entirely on the main character who was pretty painful. The bloody parts were great. Special effects and costumes were amazing. Definitely a great looking horror and has rewatchable value because of the cenobites

I loved this!

As a person who never watched the old ones, I can say that this movie was a really good surprise. The plot is good and the cenobites scenes are just really well performed. There's some lack of understanding in some points but nothing too bad 7/10 looks good to me.

South Park on the money with “put a chick in it and make it lame and gay” trend

Movie could have been so much better without the annoying winging mop thats the main character(s), the hellraiser wasn’t horrible but I felt she was kept down by script and the mop(s).

Gore was 👍🏼

I like the original hell raiser because it’s a classic and the special effects are trash but appreciated. BUT this remake was nicely done and I enjoyed it even more

This reboot puts the other sequels (except 2 or 3) to shame! Jamie Clayton was both scary and charismatic as the Priestess!
