I couldn’t tell the difference between Al Pacino and Robert De Niro the entire time. But that’s because I barely know what either of them look like and they slightly look like each other. But really not at all actually

DUDE, DUDE… then like, dude… This is one of my favorite crime movies of all time. As dumb or childish as this sounds, if you have played gta or any other heist game, you have to watch this. The heists are great and the second half of this movie has you on the edge of your seat.

Pacing issues, there’s no reason this movie needs to be three hours long. No character growth whatsoever, they stay stuck in their toxic ways simply for the sake of perpetuating the stereotypical “masculine” character. Many eye-rolling moments, I wasnt impressed.

first half is lowkey 😴😴😴 but once that bank robbery scene happens, this movie takes off. great action scenes and de niro is so damn intimidating. theres no way he isnt a mob boss irl

6.57/10. Great acting, sound, and writing, all around. Loved the action, twists and detail to everything. I really liked the coffee scene of game recognizing game. Would have given it higher but in today’s world of thrillers/action movies there isn’t the wow factor and it’s long.

sometimes you gotta do it like de niro in heat: “don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat”

I get why this movie is so popular but it was just so long and i was not engaged by most of it. the parts i was engaged by were amazing but they were few and far between. its sad i usually like long movies but i just couldn’t get into this one

A great film to watch with ur dad in movie night. Full of blasting action and iconic scenes. DeNiro and AlPacino had a great chemistry which made this film entertaining. Some scenes are draggy and corny, but it’s doable.

5.5/10 Really didn’t enjoy this movie at all. They lost me when Al shot the guy with the baby in his hand.. so unrealistic. Acting is bad, plot is bad. I’m honestly just not a fan of Al Pacino I think his acting is not great.

Hanna and McCauley may only have like three scenes where they are actually face to face together, but that doesn’t mean the clear homoerotic tension wasn’t there.

it’s taken me so long to watch this all the way through. I honestly don’t get the hype. it feels super long, the pacing is pretty bad, and the ending sucks. besides the main bank robber scene and a few others, it’s not worth my time.
5/10
