Every Robert De Niro movie needs to be cut in half

DUDE, DUDE… then like, dude… This is one of my favorite crime movies of all time. As dumb or childish as this sounds, if you have played gta or any other heist game, you have to watch this. The heists are great and the second half of this movie has you on the edge of your seat.

peak casting, peak writing, peak. the dueling cat and mouse game was super fun but i wanted this movie to feel a little bit more heisty personally and less of like a mafia drama but i still thoroughly enjoyed it - the pacino and deniro duo was just as ridiculous as i hoped it would be

Obsessed with the characters and overall vibe and tension buildup

i really really liked this one, but the fact it was so long & had basically no development / fleshing out of the characters was soooo disappointing & definitely brought it down
