Hannibal Rising

i wanted to love this but i really couldn’t. i love hannibal and i was disappointed by the fact that this felt more like a war movie rather than one about his story. there should’ve been more scenes with mischa, since she’s the most important character.

A extremely flawed movie but it does have its moments that I still enjoy when marathoning the franchise

Hannibal Rising? More like Hannibal Risible in this truly infantile film that conceives of Hannibal Lector as a superhero in his own origin flick. This tacky, hackneyed idea finds a tacky and hackneyed grammar to boot.

A really good Prequel of the "Hannibal" universe
