it's a typical horror which didn't really excite me - it was boring. i didn't want to finish it and it was very predictable. wouldn't watch again ever.

I got bored

It may seem like a dumb movie at first glance, but it is such a classic and an important part of one of the greatest horror franchises of all time. While the movie can feel cheesy or low quality, especially by today’s standards, it’s important to give it the benefit of the doubt since it was created and released in the 1970s. During that time, the production quality and special effects for horror movies were typically not very advanced, which explains some of the sillier elements. As time goes on and more sequels are added, the storyline becomes increasingly confusing due to the involvement of different directors and producers, each with their own vision. This causes inconsistencies in the plot and character development, making the overall story harder to follow. Additionally, Michael Myers being portrayed as essentially immortal was very confusing during the first watch and took away from the realism of the original premise. Despite these flaws, the movie’s influence, atmosphere, and legacy still make it an iconic and memorable piece of film history.
