This was phenomenal. Visually so captivating and such finely detailed stop motion, story was reimagined in a dark way brightened by Pinocchio’s naivety and misunderstanding of the world. Would rewatch, would recommend, and will show this to future kids even.

Watching this film was an interesting experience. Although I applaud Del toro for hinting at sources from the books. I love how the film follows Pinocchio's innocence showing a side that could not only end the conflict but could help us grow and help each other strive.

Beautiful stop motion from the mind that brought us Pan’s Labrynth, so you know it’s dark and weird… I was worried this was going to be a musical but there are only a few songs thankfully.

Was a little weird tbh, the plots different then what i thought it would be.

Yeah.. uh shouldn’t have to explain to my kid what a nazi salute is and why she shouldn’t do it. And yet this is a kids movie and can be watched on the kids profile on Netflix.

drove 45 mins to see this movie the day it came out -originally because of Finn-. i think Finn is great in voice acting. Movie for any ages that will make you laugh and cry. This movie is more than art it’s a masterpiece and has so many important messages.

love this movie, made me tear up, and I wanted to cry but I thought I would get made fun of so I didn’t 😔

absolutely deserved movie of the year. its such a refreshing take on a tale that lends itself to being really boring at times. not to mention i love a good stop motion movie. my favorite part of this movie is the character designs, especially the blue fairy. seriously watch this!

Should have been in Best Picture category. A Materpiece!

A new take on the Pinocchio story, whilst there wasn’t as many songs it was beautifully made and yet spooky at the same time. Fantastic addition!
