Love letter to motorsport, cars, Polyphony Digital, Sony, and of course the ultimate racing simulation… Gran Turismo. Neil Blomkamp did exceptionally well not only retelling an inspiring racing story but also capturing the excitement, intensity, and raw emotion of racing.

A talented young racing prodigy earns the opportunity of a lifetime and works his way to becoming one of the world’s top racers. Boasts exhilarating, immersive racing scenes. A few predictable twists, but worthy of a watch. Fun and exciting film. Great “dreams to reality” story.

The second half of the movie is way better then the first. I had fun at the cinema but will never watch it again. Very cringy gamer jokes, feels at times more like a fuck around on game based movies. The biggest plus is the crash, that finally brings in emotion and depth.

I am not a big fan of cars, but I like watching race movies and I didn’t expect that this film would turn out to be this good. I love David Harbour’s acting performance as he delivers the negative side of becoming a pro athlete. And I just love that it is based on real events.

A terrific game adaptation that happens to be a true story, which is unbelievable.

This film was a lot better than I expected it to be. As a petrol head, I knew I’d like it nevertheless, but it definitely exceeded my expectations.

Archie, David & Orlando were all terrific.

Really good, I liked it a lot. Saw it early as a mystery movie and the whole theater was really into it, David Harbour is great and funny. Really entertaining and the story flows well

Very cliche and predictable but it was based on a true story so some of it gets a pass. Still good regardless.

The cinematography was stunning, making every race feel immersive, and the sound design put you right in the driver’s seat. It wasn’t just about cars; it was about passion, determination, and pushing limits. I loved every moment of it.

I am going to dedicate the rest of my life to sim racing.

This movie made me buy a PS5 and fall in love with consoles

Thought it was a great racing film. I feel like it’s every guys dream to be able to go and race like this, great drama too. I do wish that some of the cgi was a bit better though.

Got a advance screening to #GranTurismoMovie and I was sus about it being true story about a video game but I was def surprised has my attention whole time and was rooting for the kid whole time , great job . And worth the watch !

Saw this early in theater as a Mystery Movie. Its pretty good, everyone applauded when he won the race. Definitely recommend if you like cars/racing.
