Robin Williams ad-libbed every single broadcast scene. Watching him do what he did best is magic and it is a great comfort that his comedy will live on forever

From the start, the film blows you over with excitement and for those who can latch on, it’s a nonstop ride. Offering only hackneyed insights into the war, the film makes for stodgy drama. But Willams’ magic monologues behind the mike are worth anybody’s money.

Decent acting overall, plot didn’t seem to flow all that well, good depiction of fighting racism, funny for the most part but most jokes seemed outdated in a way where I didn’t know much about the people they were making fun off
