this was a fun concept for a movie it was lowk so good. keanu reeves should’ve stopped acting after the matrix cause why is he a bad actor. i was not fucking with gabriel i don’t gaf. arj was tea. i also would’ve kept seth’s life.

the fact that’s it’s in LA makes me resonate with this even more. it’s so true in every way possible.

many people in this world really don’t have good fortune.

this film acknowledges & enhances it perfectly.

we live in such a diverse society were there’s always the rich getting richer and the poor fighting for every paycheck. especially how drastic it is here in LA. parking tickets, your car getting fucking towed, getting your paycheck cut off from the federal government, etc. shit is hard man.

this film really makes you take a step back, open your eyes, and see the bigger picture of life today.

every life is worth living no matter your past or present.

what can i say about the cast… stellar casting, i laughed so much throughout the entire runtime.

from watching keanu obliterate people as the baba yaga, to now watching him be an adorable angel was not on my bingo card hahaha.

his performance was so refreshing tbh. always a pleasure watching king reeves perform.

seth & aziz hilarious in every way. such a funny and entertaining duo.

absolutely loved all of the characters in this film. everyone was so wholesome.

especially felipe… the mexican restaurant owner who could barely speak english.

watching him talk to keanu in his mexican accent was so wholesome.

absolutely loved how much they enhanced and showcased how big the mexican culture is here in LA. especially after all the shit that has happened this year.

storytelling and pacing was really damn good.

loved the cinematography, especially those reveal shots of keanu watching over as a beautiful angel.

honestly one of the most relatable and joyful film i’ve seen this year.

a really fun watch. def recommend.

A bit confusing at first but once you get the plot it gets good. Good movie with a good message

This was just OK for me. It was honestly slow, and I felt like they gave a lot away in the trailer. It was hard to relate to the characters and it just kind of disappointed me. It had some good parts and I chuckled a few times, but overall it was just average.

Disappointed with this. Could have been funnier if Aziz Ansari could act.

I really hated the first half of this movie. The main characters voice is genuinely the most annoying thing I’ve ever had to listen to, I hate it when his voice goes really high when he says “oh no” hey” “okay” “wow”, just so jarring. The second half really picks up and only gets interesting when Gabriel turns into a human. Keanu reeves is genuinely pretty funny in this and I wasn’t expecting it to make me laugh. This movie has an interesting concept and has a lot to say, I just think it should’ve focused a bit more on what they were saying. Sometimes the acting in this wasn’t the greatest, especially form the main character.

My score: 5/10

actually better than it looks

I went in feeling good and, simply put, left feeling bad. I liked the casting…however, pairing up the most boringly mediocre duo with Keanu Reeves was almost as painful as the acting all around. I couldn't get into the nonexistent flow and could read the entire premise from start to finish within the first ten minutes alone. They tried doing something philosophical and relevant, but it ended up feeling out of touch. The politics aren't thorough enough, the drama isn't smart enough, and the comedy isn't funny enough.

this was definitely an aziz ansari passion project BUT had some really funny laughs. Keanu reeves madeee the movie. unexpectedly poignant and pretty hilarious

He started very boring, fortunately he recovered. Unpretentious light movie.

L' ho trovato lento a partire ma tutto sommato è un bel film sull' apprezzare ciò che si ha, Keanu Reeves come ruolo comico l' ho trovato azzeccatissimo e in generale bravi tutti quanti, fosse stato un po' più ritmato l' avrei valutato di più

Very boring and not funny at all. The trailer is far more interesting than the entire movie itself. I understand what the story was trying to achieve, but it never really connects with the audience.
