Godzilla vs. Kong

Good if your expectations are low and you want to watch things explode. Bad if you are expecting quality acting or logical plots.

The amount of talent it takes to build a movie like this is unimaginable. The cgi in almost every single scene was beautiful. The destruction and design was amazing. This is why I love Godzilla and Kong, and to finally put them together, ahhh, a dream come true. I do wish for a Monsterverse movie in the pov of the monsters, but this got fairly close. The story was nor good or bad, but it kept me satisfied. The dialogue is always cheesy, and the acting and casting was mediocre. The score and sound design was amazing. I still can't comprehend how it's possible to make this big ol blockbuster.

The story is great, The colors are beautiful, and there are so many awesome camera shots and angles utilized in filming.

Again, these movies are so fun. This one was a big step up in CGI from the last film. The suspension of disbelief is pretty crazy though. You have to just assume this is happening in an entirely alternate universe and not based in our reality at all.

That aside, it’s 2 hours of big monsters, pretty glowing lights, beautiful settings and imaginary futuristic tech, so I really enjoyed it.

watched this before the other movies knowing nothing about godzilla or Kong but still good

the monsters feel too light and acrobatic despite their size, has some nice fighting but the humans are still boring
