Godzilla Reviews

Lemme tell you why cause I know this movie has a bad rep this was the first ever movie that I ever watched as a kid, and it was a Godzilla one and I’m one of the biggest Godzilla fans you’ll ever meet this was my introduction to the character I physically cannot hate it cuz of It

After years and years of having this on disc this sounds stupid but I’ve finally started to watch these films.

I totally understand this isn’t a great Godzilla movie, I think it’s a great monster movie. Yes it shows its age now but they didn’t use crap CGI. Solid 6/10

Blah

I love this goddamn movie. Do the effects stand up? No. Is the writing cheesy? Yes. But it’s so nostalgic for me and I think it’s so fun. As a Godzilla movie, it’s strange, but I stand by it being a great monster flick.

2/5

fun fact; L'Arc~en~Ciel's 'lose control' plays on the boats raido

6.4

I can’t say I wasn’t entertained. The CGI’s awful and the writing’s flawed, but the movie overall wasn’t as bad as I’d expected. This is coming from someone who didn’t see the original. Also what was up with all that Simpsons cast?

As a late-90s blockbuster, it’s serviceable. The New York setting is used well, and the pacing rarely stalls. The military sequences and citywide chaos is okay, and the creature design, while controversial, stands out as something different from traditional kaiju portrayals.

Love!!

this was my very first godzilla move I saw as a kid and it reminds me of my grandpa, and it’s a pretty good monster movie, but this is not godzilla. Philippe is the best character from a Godzilla movie tho and Nick Totopolis is a crazy name

Not Godzilla.

Bad/mid

Best film besides the first made imo

Miss being a kid where every movie rocked

This movie was an actual joke. If clickbait was a movie😭

6/10

good film, but very unrealistic and there are more dinosaurs than godzilla

Love this movie. I know it’s not a “normal” looking Godzilla but I still love it. It was a very interesting one and I love worm guy lol 😂. My brother and I always refer to this one as “the worm guy zilla”
