brings back civics mems but was confusing and i didn’t know any of the characters names until the worksheet 3/10

watched it in civics.. very hard to follow along and they didn’t introduce the characters very well. I never knew who was who and it got me very confused.

One of the best war movies I’ve ever seen. What a great story.

What a great movie! A young Matthew Broderick in the presence of such screen greats as Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman, works for me 🤔. Get it on your list, watch it on Film4 for free as of 21/05/26 👍

a must watch

Definitely a well made movie in most regards, but it also didn’t really do anything for me. It’s got good intentions, great performances, and some standout scenes for sure but it’s held back by not really letting you get to know the characters. It was hard to be invested in them.

Glory to the 54th, Tuskegee, and all units like it

A very powerful and profound film.

One of the best civil war era battles i’ve seen on screen thus far.

Matthew Broderick is a comfort actor for me, but Denzel did NOT need to go that hard… That man can act DAYUMMM.

This is a great film that shows the sad realities of American history, and the importance of not repeating it. It was very inspiring and the actors all did a great job.

Another to add to the list of must see movies. Everyone is sooo young. So much death, sadness, and horrible things to be a part of.

I wasn’t paying too much attention but still wasn’t for me. May rewatch and see again

oof. that last scene is something else. if something is based on real life the only happy endings are to be found in thai massage places.
