Ghostbusters: Afterlife
A very nostalgic recapture of the original while adding a personal flair. Grace killed is as Phoebe and Rudd brought a great amount of charisma. Writing is sometimes cringy but doesn’t suffer from the shortcomings. Fun visual effects and great character writing. 4/5

Watched this on a plane. Great plane movie. Mediocre when watched at 0 altitude
Some solid nostalgia throughout for millennials + genx who grew up with ghostbusters

I really only watched because my sister LOVES Finn, but really enjoyed and wish I was a die hard ghostbusters fan from the beginning because I feel like I would have loved the lore even more.

Ghostbusters Afterlife doesn't do anything original with its narrative, but its new setting and earnest heart manage to make this franchise feel worth the revisit one more time.

I really liked this for the tension, the comedy, and the nostalgia push. The new cast was alright too, but 50% of this movie was pointless. It was introducing Ghostbusters to all people, from the newer generations to the older generations, so I understood the re-introduction, but it took way too long. Especially as it's near enough the same story as the first. The soundtrack and score were great, the script was fine, the cgi was fine, and the acting was fine. I loved how it showed respect to Harold Ramis and how they used him to carry the torch, I just wish it knew what to expand on though.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife
This sequel that follows the descendants of Egon discovering his ghostly past mostly feels good. Overall it’s nostalgic with decent storytelling. The problem is without the original in mind, it doesn’t work.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife
So drab and depressing. The monochromatic color scale makes you feel sad for the days in which its predecessors could create something original instead of resurrecting the corpse of something great in order to desecrate it.

I really wasn’t a big fan it just didn’t interest me. I’ve also never been really interested in ghostbusters in general so don’t take my rating too seriously but personally I’d give it a 6/10

ottimo sequel della serie, potrebbe essere un bel reboot, classico Film "alla Netflix", che mira sia ai Fan della serie che alle nuove generazioni.

I really didn’t find it interesting and it does not to compare to the 2 original ghostbusters and female ghostbusters

Surprisingly one of the better “reboots” of a franchise. I’m mostly against reboots of franchises. But this movie did a good job of brining in the new while respecting the past. I loved the new characters introduced and the comedy was also on point. Very promising future imo.

characters were likable, needed more paul rudd, and dedicating the movie to harold ramis was super sweet 7/10 neurodivergent characters
