enid was the most obnoxious unlikable character ever

Why does everyone like this movie?! I thought it was so cringe! So hard to get through. I also had to watch it for a class. So that didn’t help

I usually love weird girl movies, coming of age themes etc, but I don’t know this just didn’t stick with me. Some parts I liked and some parts I was a bit bored. The “relationship” between Enid and Seymour was just uncomfortable. The protagonist is annoying.

Pretty solid, unique characters, a good amount of funny moments, with fun performances from main and side characters but the main characters are a little too unlikeable to have the emotional moments work for me

This movie was interesting to watch as we see the development of that young girl in the older man’s relationship it kind of make me uncomfortable Scarlett was the reason I watch this film and she did a great job she was very responsible.

My sister and I just randomly decided to watch this and it was a good choice. My type of movie, bleak like Welcome to the Dollhouse. This is why you should go to college. Also young Scarlett Johansson is in it.

Not a comedy only watched it for Thora birch and Scarlett Johansson was bit boring

A great, bleak comedy which examines how becoming an adult might not be exciting as one is expecting. The ending leaves room for speculation and different interpretations.

This movie was fine. I watched this in my AP Art History class. The most exciting thing was that it was filmed in my high school.

9/8/26: interesting time capsule.

The first half of this movie feels like a fun, relatable coming of age and is quite enjoyable to watch but the second half is boring and depressing. The casting, acting, and striking visuals make me like this movie but the way things unravel feels true to life to a fault.
