enid was the most obnoxious unlikable character ever

Why does everyone like this movie?! I thought it was so cringe! So hard to get through. I also had to watch it for a class. So that didn’t help

God I love Edin so much. Thora is gorgeous & she absolutely nailed that role.
I still can't get my head around the end, whether she really accomplished her number 1 fantasy, or died.
I have to stop falling in love with sad teen girls (I'm a teenager too I swear I'm not a weirdo).

an amazing modern cult film adapted from a graphic novel, always retaining that feel and energy. insanely strong writing, acting, and music; as wonderfully funny and enjoyable as it is painful and uncomfortable. definitely an underrated gem that more people should appreciate

I don't think I've seen a coming of age movie do subversion as well. Near the end everyone on Enid's life does so much to help her despite how she treats people and you can see why they root for her despite her childish edginess
