I try to go into horror movies with an open mind because they’re just not my cup of tea. This one was pretty lame. Jump scares, weird acting moments, and a lot of older gentlemen doing the best with what they were given in the script. Not really compelling.

I know it’s a classic, but it’s super slow and the ending payout isn’t worth the long watch.

A slow burn with a melodramatic tone, but the practical FX and emotional storyline make this a terribly underrated 80s horror flick. Some might feel it’s cheezy, but fans of horror and classic cinema would do well to see it. The Innocents meets Poltergeist.
