Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai

One of my favorite movies of all time. Might be THE favorite movie.

Such an awesome idea and great execution. Whitaker was… Whitaker (amazing as always). Really good philosophical teachings and developed characters.

I like how he holstered his guns like how a samurai would sheath their swords. But I still would’ve liked more sword fighting :).

Great movie. It has a lot of really great motifs, but my fav part was how goofy the mafia was. When the old guy died & ghost dog just put down one of his guns, I was laughing so hard. Aside from that, it’s v similar to Leon: the professional. If you enjoyed that, def watch this.

i went into this movie completely blind on a recommendation from a tik tok and damn i’m glad i did - forest whitaker delivers easily my favorite performance of his entire career as ghost dog - the action in this movie is so much fun and the mafia scenes are pretty hilariously written - the themes and plot devices used in this movie beautifully set the tone of the story and immerse the viewer fully into the world - each character has so much personality and likability, really resonated with me

ghost dog is one of my favorite characters ever

RZA on the soundtrack was just purely perfect

this movie has to be one of the coolest movies of all time
