Yea idk I stopped watching it when the whole plot changed and the dad started perving on the daughter that was pretty fucking weird.

So boring then all of a sudden the most confusing shit starts happening and at the end all you’re thinking is “wow that made no sense, was stupid, and a complete waste of time!”

Someone recommended this one to me. Interesting movie. Gerald is weird af. And that dog was suspicious as hell. I didn’t knew that movie was so…exciting/thrilling. The scene with the dad was so uncomfortable. The ending scene was easy to graphic. :0

All about this woman going out with this guy and he instantly has a heart attack and she is strapped to the bed and throughout this whole movie she is struggling to get off of his bed it will have you in for a roller coaster

First watched this when it came out but couldn’t remember how I felt about it so gave it a rewatch. I forgot how creepy and disturbing it is! Very dark themes about trauma, freedom, and power that I wasn’t expecting. Carla Gugino is amazing, I love that she’s the scream queen of Netflix. Was kinda dragged out with all the dialogue tho. Also the midnight mass reference had me geeked.

I think this movie is going to be very hit or miss for a lot of people. The movie has a pretty slow pace, but it’s very descriptive and extremely detailed. It’s not very action packed so to speak, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this might not be for you.

However if you like descriptive and detailed psychological horror, where the horror comes from the details, then this probably is for you!

This movie definitely has it’s highs and lows, the beginning was a bit strange perhaps, but most of the movie after that was good in my opinion. I’ll admit though that there was a time or two where I questioned the realism of the movie, in the sense that the scene was just absurd. However I can usually overlook those kind of things when it comes to horror movies so I’ll let it slide as it was only once or twice as I said.

The only thing I felt a bit disappointed by was the ending, it felt a bit rushed and concluded way to quickly. It was almost like they wanted to tell a longer story but the production said no so they ran out of runtime and had to cut the movie short.

I think with more time this movie could have been even better but for what it is I think it’s completely fine and will be enjoyable for it’s target audience.
