On my memories it was better, i mean theres pretty good cgi for a 2008 movie and good idea and all but i had difficulties keeping watching at some point

This is an example of how bad directing and writing turns a potentially good movie into an epic fail. The writing is atrocious with awful one liners one after another leading to decent actors giving the worst performances of their life. CGI sucked too. Nothing redeemable here.
