Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
Visually this looked great, and has some really good action sequences.
I thoroughly enjoyed the beginning, and found myself wanting to know more about where Furiosa came from, her mother, and the community they were part of. I did feel like there was very little character development, which ultimately left the story lacking. I wanted to feel more for the dynamics in the film but was unable to due to the lack of character/story development. While I appreciate what they were trying to do with Hemsworth’s character, it seemed like they relied too much on humor which stripped the character of any real depth. Joy looked great, and I think played her part very well, however I wish we had more time with her because it felt like we didn’t get more “personality” from her until the very end. I think due to all the moving parts and characters, this would have translated a lot better as a limited series. This way we could have explored the world, characters, and story more deeply. Ultimately, not a horrible film but definitely could’ve given us more.

8.7 - Truly feels like an extension or true part 1 to Fury Road. Furiosa is the right character to delve into, and Anya Taylor-Joy does the character justice. It provided a lot more of the world context I was looking for from Fury Road , & I honestly enjoyed the story much more. Pretty much everything else is on par. A great summer action blockbuster, meant for big & loud screens.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
Visually awesome and action packed. Storyline definitely wasn’t as good as fury road but it’s a good prequel. Chris Hemsworth was a funny villain but towards the end felt like the movie was being dragged. It was good don’t get me wrong, but not the “movie of the summer” 7.0/10

Cannot go wrong with George Miller. The action, dialogue, characterisations, design, stunts, visuals, choreography, score, and camerawork are unbelievable as always. You'll end up asking yourself, "Is that real?", several times. Personally, Fury Road is in my top 10 of the greatest action movies of all time, so it's a challenge to outdo that. Although this didn't come close to outdoing Fury Road, it was insanly fun. I wasn't certain on the casting for anyone in this, but they all definitely did a great job. My one major criticism is that this movie also needs a prequel, and I wish it didn't.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
Furiosa traffics in pessimism and cruelty. It delivers a bleak and blunt commentary on the inevitability of war and suffering, pointing out humanity’s propensity for justifying self-extinction, be it religion, oil, water, revenge or empire.

Decent movie.
First 30ish minutes was really slow and boring to be fair but the rest was enjoyable. Some really entertaining fight scenes but that’s what heavily carried the movie.
Plot was all around extremely average BUT it was a fun watch. 6.5/10

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
Damn this was fun. The aesthetic is so consistent with the prior movies, and Furiosa is developed from childhood through early adulthood. But it is Chris Hemsworth that steals the show. He’s a very different villain but one with such charm, dumbassness, and villainy that I can’t help but love and hate him. The action is exceptional—with some scenes that feel a bit long but always kept me entertained. It’s a nice feed in the prior movie—and a must see of any mad max fan.

Lived up to hype & avoided worries. ATY & CH are amazing & Miller’s direction is flawless. Fleshes out locations & characters perfectly, along with context for FR. CG is good, action is fantastic & score is electric. It’s no FR, but its my fav film of the year rn (sorry Dune pt2)

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
Starts a little slow, but it ends up becoming a genuinely epic tale. The action is never boring (spectacular even) and though you could tell they used green screen at times I still loved the way most of this looked & how vibrantly it popped & whenever they did use detailed sets…

Big like, this was actually good! Anya did a great job but my attention was more on Chris, he did an excellent work, maybe better than Thor fr. Cgi and script was amazing. Really enjoyed it and worth a watch

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
An apocalyptic, off the walls, wonderfully designed story told in an unexpectedly beautiful way. Design is otherworldly and is magnetic to the eyes. Hemsworth is an energy machine that fuels the entirety of this story. This was a complete and total treat to watch. 4.5/5

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
Slows things down after the bombastic, frenetic Fury Road with a character study origin of the title character. Anya is terrific, Hemsworth is surprising, and the action scenes are still inventive and spectacular. Holkenborg phones in the score and the pacing isn’t as smooth.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
About as weird as the Mad Max world gets but it had its great action packed scenes with amazing cinematic scenes and jaw dropping sequences. Loved Hemsworths performance as the villain too. I will say tho that the pacing lacked a bit and the climax was a bit unsatisfying. 8/10!!!

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
It reminded me of something from the past. Be careful, however, not to pass it off as a sloppy mess because then you will not see its virtues: hearty stormy action, dystopian absurdity and a possible post-apocalyptic future for man, as dictated the original recipe MEL GIBSON 7/10

Honestly, didn’t expect to like it so much. Great job to all the actors and the make-up team for what they did to CH😂
I found the story to be told very naturally wo dragging on too much.
I’d surely rewatch it again soon!
Wouldn’t say it’s a fit for everyone but surely is for me!😊
